START Date: July 2002 Destination: Enchanted Valley, Olympic National Park Lindsey and Sam spent July 4th weekend hiking in to the Enchanted Valley, which is up the east fork of the Quinault River in Olympic National Park. We have been hoping to undertake the hike for several years, but this was our first opportunity. Thanks to a road washout the total trip was 49 miles over four days. While it was worth the effort, we never again plan to cover such distance in so few days. START
