INDEX / NEXT This DeHaviland Beaver, built in the 50s, was the transportation for the first day of my trip. There's no better way to get a quick introduction to the coast. We were lucky to have a warm, sunny and calm day. Note the wheels on the front of the pontoon. This plane can land on both water and land.
